Meet our staff Dr Lakshmi (Lucky) grew up in the beautiful South Island in New Zealand and has come to Australia to expand her horizons in dentistry. Graduating from the Otago University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery she continued her professional education through the study of various dental courses to further her skills. Through this she has found passion in building meaningful and positive relationships with her patients. Understanding that many patients experience anxiety when visiting a dentist she tailors each appointment to ensure the patient is always comfortable.

Dr Lucky has a passion for preventative dentistry and believes in the importance providing patients with all treatment options available to them and allowing patients to make an informed decision. She also has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and wanting to achieve a smile that the patient is proud of.

Outside of dentistry Dr Lucky loves to spend her free time doing outdoor activities such as soccer and rock-climbing. In her down time she can be found playing piano, eating out or reading a good book.
Dr Chris graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011, after which he also studied to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and gained experience working in oral surgery and orthodontics before moving to Australia in 2013. In Australia, Chris spent 6 months in community dentistry in Melbourne before making the move into private dentistry.

Dr Chris has a down-to-earth, friendly and relaxed attitude to dentistry, believing that the key to good treatment is helping each individual patient to understand their teeth and mouth in a way they never have before. It is his firm belief that every patient deserves honesty, clarity and fairness, and from these foundations great dentistry happens.

Chris has special interest in treating anxious patients, helping them to grow in confidence and work through the issues that may cause them to shy away from treatment.

Dr Chris has a special interest in orthodontics and teeth straightening, and is currently enrolled in a postgraduate diploma for this. He is also studying for a postgraduate qualification in dental implants, helping him to provide the best options for tooth replacement.

Outside of work, Chris is a keen musician and is part of an acapella singing group, regularly competing in contests around Australia. He is adventurous with a passion for hiking, and loves to travel and explore new places, sometimes with the aid of his pilot's license.

Lauren completed both her Bachelor of Oral Health, and Bachelor of Oral health Therapy at The University of Newcastle. She was awarded the Kathleen Cusick Memorial award for Dental Therapy for academic commitment and dedication to dental therapy. Having both qualifications allows Lauren to be highly skilled in all areas of preventative dentistry and oral health education.
