Meet our staff Dr Niels Kirsten was born and raised in Townsville. In 2010, he graduated in Bachelor Nursing Science at James Cook University and worked in rural communities in far North Queensland as a registered nurse. Dr Kirsten went on to study Bachelor of Dental Surgery at JCU, following in his father’s footsteps as a dentist.

Growing up in a dental practice and observing his father, Niels had developed a strong interest in dentistry early in life. Since graduating as a dentist in 2015, Dr Niels has completed his Graduate Diploma in Implantology.

Outside of work Dr Niels enjoys spending quality time with his son and catching up with his family.

Working Mondays 8.30-17.00
Dr Yoon Lee, General Dentist graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. Dr Yoon Lee has also completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience achieving First Class Honours at The University of Queensland.

Although Yoon enjoys Geriatric and Cosmetic dentistry, he has a special interest in the field of Periodontology. He hopes in time and with research that it will be possible to potentially find a cure for periodontal disease. Yoon chose to work in dentistry as his maternal grandmother’s health condition impaired her motor functions and she was unable to care for her teeth. Seeing his grandmother struggle, this motivated Yoon to not only care for his grandmother but also people like her who are unable to care for their teeth due to health conditions. Yoon's favourite part of working in the dental industry is the team environment and helping one another to bring out the best treatment and provide service to the patients. Yoon enjoys being able to restore smiles to patients’ faces.

Outside of work, Yoon enjoys playing musical instruments such as the guitar and violin. Yoon also enjoys reading novels and dental journals and textbooks. Yoon also likes to keep fit by playing sports such as tennis, soccer, and exercising routinely at the gym. Most importantly, Yoon enjoys spending time with his friends.
Dr John graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health and Dental Sciences and had since been working in Central Queensland before moving back to Brisbane.

Dr John practices all aspects of general dentistry and emphasises building rapport with his patients. “My goal is to make each visit as comfortable as it can be for every patient".

Outside of dentistry, Dr John enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a huge basketball/NBA fan and is guilty of being a K-pop fan.
Dr Vivian Yang was born and raised in Brisbane, where her interest in dentistry was inspired by positive dental experiences as a child coupled with a deep admiration of healthcare professionals. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons).

During her final year, she also received the Colgate Undergraduate Student Research First Prize for her honours work. With experience working in the public sector of Queensland Health treating patients in the Darling Downs (Toowoomba) and Metro North regions, Vivian is currently an active member of the Australian Dental Association and also part of the ADA Queensland RG&S Committee. She understands that coming to the dentist can be daunting for many people and her approachable nature allows for open, honest and reassuring communication. Her areas of interest include preventative, restorative, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

Clancy enjoys helping people smile, even when they’re in the dental chair. With his good-humoured nature, he’s no stranger to using laughter to help patients feel at ease. Clancy enjoys the practical, hands-on side of dentistry, and loves to see the impact of his work, particularly following aesthetic restorations.

When Clancy’s not at work, he loves sailing, surfing, cooking and unwinding with a good video game. A Red Hill local, he loves the coffee shops, parks and beautiful homes the area has to offer.
Dr Evelyn aims to make dental visits a positive experience, placing great importance on making her patients feel comfortable and at ease during treatment. Originally from Brazil, she graduated from the State University of Campinas (UniCamp), one of the highest ranking Latin America's universities.

Dr. Meenaz Bhimani graduated from India in 2011, she moved to QLD in 2012 has been enjoying providing oral health services to the community in the private sector ever since. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and believes in providing exceptional care for patients of all ages, with a particular focus on children and anxious patients. Dr Chris grew up in the cosy coastal town of Hervey Bay before travelling to Cairns to study dentistry after high school. He holds a deep passion for restorative and preventative dentistry. His approach in dentistry is holistic, aiming not only to treat disease but also to educate his patients on how to maintain their dental health to avoid future problems. This stems from his belief that a dentist's role extends beyond the dental chair – he is committed to improving the overall well-being of each patient.

Since graduating he has since moved to Brisbane with his family, embracing the vibrant community here. His career choice was heavily influenced by his love for the one-on-one interactions that dentistry offers and the gratification that comes from seeing direct improvements in his patients' lives. He prides himself on not only his clinical work, but the connection formed with each patient.

Beyond his professional life, he has a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. He continually seeks further education to enhance his skills and stay abreast of the latest advancements in dental care. In his spare time, he enjoys working out at the gym, which helps him maintain his physical health and focus. Community service is another passion of his; he actively volunteers through a local church, allowing him to give back in other ways than dentistry. He welcomes any and all patients.
