Meet our staff Dr Devanshi Mistry started her career in dentistry with a strong determination to make a positive impact on others’ lives. With over a decade of experience, she strives to help her patients achieve their oral health goals, helping patients in English, Gujarati or Hindi. She shares this passion with fellow dentists by acting as a mentor.

Devanshi’s aim is to listen to each patient, approaching their concerns with a deep sense of empathy and always working to understand their individual needs. She firmly believes in tailoring treatment plans that are specific to each patient, supporting their decisions while equipping them with the knowledge to look after their oral health. A gentle and caring dentist, she strives to create a calming, comfortable environment for all. Devanshi is particularly passionate about orthodontics, and finds it truly rewarding to see patients smiling with pride.

In her free time, Devanshi can be found immersing herself in nature, spending quality time with her two kids, or engrossing herself in the pages of a great book.
Having had her own life improved by dentistry, Dr Sabrina Ting entered the profession with a drive to leave a similar positive impact on others. Whether she’s in-practice or volunteering with Community Dental Outreach programs, nothing makes her happier than seeing patients leave their appointments in a better position – and with a big smile on their face.

To Sabrina, the most fulfilling part of being a dentist is meeting new people and forming genuine connections with her patients. A great supportive listener, she strives to fully understand each individual’s concerns and expectations, ensuring each treatment plan meets their specific needs. With her calming and empathetic nature, she works to create a safe, positive space, helping patients feel at ease as she works to keep their pearly whites gleaming.

When she’s not working, you can find Sabrina playing tennis with friends, learning pottery and hunting down the best cafes and Malaysian restaurants in Melbourne. If asked, she might be able to help you find some seriously good Nasi Lemak.
Dr Naish Desai started his dental career after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2006. He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch.

Naish offers his services in implants, restorative and preventative dentistry and aims to help relieve patients’ dental pain. He is passionate about helping people smile and truly enjoys taking care of his patients.

Naish is known to be a relaxed and good-humoured presence around the clinic. When not tending to patients, he enjoys getting outside and taking long walks, listening to his favourite music and watching sports.
Shika Singh has seen many sides of dentistry through her career, from the 12 years she spent as a dental nurse, to her work in radiography and now as a dental Hygienist. Through her diverse experience, she’s seen how critical education is when it comes to oral health. So it’s no surprise she finds it so rewarding to help others learn more about their oral health, whether she’s practicing in English or Hindi.

Shika understands there’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to dentistry. She spends plenty of time hearing each patient’s concerns, creating a judgement-free space for each individual to ask questions and share their past experiences. Shika finds it especially rewarding to work with those who are anxious about their dental appointments, and her gentle and calming nature makes her a natural at helping people feel at ease.

When she’s not at the clinic, Shika cherishes the time she spends with her three daughters. She also loves exploring new places, and is an avid traveller and hiker.
Shugufa Wardak is an experienced and friendly Oral Health Therapist with a passion for children's dentistry. Having arrived as a refugee from Afghanistan with her family in 1996, her Australian dentistry experiences were always positive. These experiences inspired Shugufa to pursue dentistry, helping others enjoy their dental visits as much as she did.

Today, with a decade of dentistry experience spanning public health, private practice and mobile dentistry, Shugufa understands that each person has unique needs. To this end, she rejects a one-size-fits-all approach, working hard to meet individual needs whether in Pashtu or English. With her warm, bubbly nature, she strives to help each patient feel at ease, always creating a non-judgmental environment. Nothing warms Shugufa’s heart like seeing her patients smile, knowing that she can be part of their oral health journeys.

In her own time, Shugufa is a self-proclaimed baking enthusiast, and loves to spend time in the kitchen cooking up a storm. When she’s out and about, she’s usually fuelling her love of coffee and exploring Melbourne's vibrant café scene.
